On Tuesday 3 June 2025 Harvey Whitehouse and Julia Ebner will host the 2nd Calleva Expert Workshop as part of their project "When Despots Become Deadly: The psychological foundations of institutionalised extremism in autocratic states" at the University of Oxford's Calleva Centre of Evolution and Human Sciences (Magdalen College). The workshop will bring together international scholars with expertise in the prevention of genocide, state-led violence, authoritarianism, threats to democracy and related topics.
